Important Dates

Final Paper Formatting

Submitted papers must follow the IEEE two-column format with single-spaced, ten-point font in the text. The length of submitted paper can be from 6 to 8 pages including figures and references. Papers must be submitted in PDF format.

Authors MUST submit their papers electronically using the EDAS paper submission site. A personal user account needs to be created on EDAS prior to paper submission. Registration of the paper consists of specifying a title, short abstract of up to 250 words, and providing information for all authors including affiliation. Categories best specifying the content of the paper are also selected by the authors. Then the full paper in PDF can be uploaded.

In order to include the copyright notice on the first page of the papers, authors must copy the templates below to prepare the final version of their accepted papers. The files: LaTeX style file and LaTeX template file have been modified for this purpose.

Templates

The following style files and templates are available for users of LaTeX and Microsoft Word:

It is essential that the papers are prepared based on the provided templates. LaTeX formatting is strongly advised as the use of MSWord for documents containing equations often results in poor typesetting.

Authors of accepted papers should address the issues raised by the reviewers and revise their papers accordingly.

For each paper at least one non-student rate registration must be done by the final paper deadline.

Important notice for PDF compatibility for IEEE Xplore:
Before submitting your final paper, you must verify that the manuscript is IEEE Xplore-compatible. This is mandatory for all manuscripts to be included in IEEE Xplore. Please click here to visit IEEE PDF eXpress Access page. You will need to create an account (use the conference ID: icdsc07), and follow the instruction. The IEEE PDF eXpress allows you to either (1) convert non-pdf documents (Word, LaTex, etc.) into IEEE Xplore compliant PDFs, OR (2) submit your own PDF files for compatibility testing.

If you choose not to use IEEE PDF eXpress, use this job options file to set Adobe Distiller to the correct requirements.

After you verified that your manuscript is IEEE Xplore-compatible, click here to begin the final submission.

In case of any paper submission issues send an email to: info AT icdsc.org
